Posture and Ergonomics in Sarasota
Assessment and coaching that address habits and loading which may contribute to neck and upper back discomfort.

Forward-head posture, rounded shoulders, and long hours at a desk or phone are often discussed in relation to neck pain, upper back pain, and headaches. The relationship between posture and pain is more complicated than it is usually presented, and posture alone does not explain most symptoms. What can help some people is a combination of movement variety, strengthening, ergonomic adjustments, and care directed at the actual examination findings.
What is assessed
Head carriage, shoulder position, thoracic curvature, hip alignment, and how you move and load through a typical day. Measurements can be repeated over time so changes are tracked rather than assumed.
What a program may include
Care directed at restricted or symptomatic segments; strengthening for the deep neck flexors, mid-back, and hips; mobility work; and coaching on workstation setup, breaks, and phone use. Progress and timelines vary between individuals.
